Online Mental Health Services in Texas

Therapy, clinical evaluations, professional letters, parent coaching, and accessible counseling options—delivered securely through telehealth.

Elevated Horizons Mental Health provides thoughtful, culturally responsive care to Texas residents ages 13 and older. Services are designed for people seeking practical support, honest conversations, and care that recognizes the full context of their lives.

Mental Health Care That Meets You Where You Are

Living in Texas should not require driving across town, sitting in a waiting room, or limiting yourself to the closest available provider.

Elevated Horizons Mental Health offers secure telehealth services throughout Texas. Whether you are managing anxiety, navigating a major transition, supporting a teenager, preparing documentation, or looking for a therapist who understands military and culturally diverse experiences, care is available from wherever you feel comfortable and have appropriate privacy.

Services are provided by Alexis McCray, Ed.S., LPC, and eligible counseling services may also be available through supervised Counselors-in-Training.

Online Therapy in Texas

Individual Therapy for Teens and Adults

Individual therapy is available to Texas residents ages 13 and older. Sessions may address anxiety, trauma, stress, identity, grief, relationship patterns, military experiences, family concerns, life transitions, and the emotional weight of always being expected to hold everything together.

Therapy is collaborative and tailored to the person—not forced into a generic formula. The goal is to help you better understand what is happening, develop useful strategies, and create change that can continue beyond the therapy room.

Elevated Access Program

Reduced-Cost Counseling Through Supervised Counselors-in-Training

The Elevated Access Program was created to make counseling more accessible while supporting the development of future mental health professionals.

Eligible Texas residents ages 13 and older may receive telehealth counseling from a master’s- or doctoral-level Counselor-in-Training under clinical supervision. Services are offered on a sliding scale from $0 to $60 per session, depending on availability and financial need.

The program is designed to reduce barriers to care, shorten wait times, and expand appointment availability within the communities EHMH serves.

Evaluations and Professional Letters

Clear, Thorough, and Individually Considered

Elevated Horizons Mental Health provides several specialized evaluation and documentation services for eligible Texas residents. Each service begins with a review of the person’s circumstances and the purpose of the requested documentation.

Available services include:

Emotional Support Animal Evaluations

Clinical evaluations for eligible renters and college students requesting an emotional support animal accommodation. Evaluations may address up to two animals.

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

Trauma-informed psychological evaluations for immigration matters, including asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, and extreme-hardship cases.

Nexus Letters for Veterans

Independent clinical evaluations and nexus letters for eligible veterans pursuing disability claims involving PTSD or military sexual trauma.

Gender-Affirming Evaluations and Letters

Respectful evaluations and supporting documentation for adults seeking gender-affirming medical care.

Parent Coaching

Practical Support for Parents and Caregivers

Parent coaching provides a focused space to work through parenting challenges, communication concerns, boundaries, family transitions, and the emotional demands of caring for a child or teenager.

Unlike individual therapy, coaching centers on the parent or caregiver’s goals and the practical changes they want to make at home. Teen-parent coaching is also available to help young parents build confidence, strengthen caregiving skills, and navigate the responsibilities of parenting.

Counselor-in-Training Opportunities

Gain Meaningful Telehealth Experience with EHMH

Elevated Horizons Mental Health accepts eligible master’s- and doctoral-level counseling students whose universities permit telesupervision and online accumulation of clinical hours.

Counselors-in-Training may participate from locations outside Texas when their university requirements allow it. Clients assigned through the Elevated Access Program must be physically located in a state where EHMH is authorized to provide services.

Placement opportunities may include supervised client care, documentation, case consultation, group development, professional training, and exposure to the operational side of a growing mental health practice.

Professional Training

Mental Health Training for Texas Organizations

Elevated Horizons Mental Health offers virtual professional development and customized mental health training for businesses, community organizations, healthcare teams, educational settings, and other professional groups.

Training topics may include veteran and military culture, trauma-informed communication, mental health awareness, workplace wellness, professional boundaries, and other topics developed around an organization’s needs.

These trainings are available to Texas organizations but are not advertised as Texas continuing-education credit.
