Individual Therapy with Alexis
Online Therapy for Teens and Adults
Individual therapy with Alexis is available to eligible clients ages 13 and older in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. Alexis also offers counseling by telehealth to eligible clients physically located in South Carolina under registration TLC 3078 PC. Location, clinical fit, and availability are confirmed before scheduling.
20-minute session: $95

The appropriate session length depends on the client’s clinical needs, treatment goals, and provider availability.

Elevated Access Program
Reduced-cost counseling with Jenny
Jenny: individual counseling $30–$60 / 45 minutes; consultation $15 / 15–30 minutes, credited toward the first session; intake $30 / 60–90 minutes; couples counseling $60 / 90 minutes.
Jenny’s six-part group series is $150 when paid upfront in full, or $25 per group session when paying separately. Separate group-type rates are $30 per session for therapy groups, $30 for support groups, and $25 for peer groups. Confirm the selected group’s rate before enrolling.
Pro bono spaces depend on financial need and program capacity. Placement depends on eligibility, clinical fit, and availability. Applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax is disclosed before payment.

Immigration Psychological Evaluations
Evaluations for Immigration Matters
Immigration psychological evaluations may support legal matters involving asylum, VAWA, U-Visas, T-Visas, and extreme hardship.
Initial consultation: $200
Evaluation and written report: $1,400–$3,000
Case preparation or professional consultation: $200 per hour
Half-day testimony: $900
Full-day testimony: $1,600
The final evaluation fee depends on the type and complexity of the case, available records, assessment needs, number of interviews, requested timeline, and anticipated report requirements.

Emotional Support Animal Evaluations
ESA Evaluations for Housing Accommodations
Emotional support animal evaluations are available to eligible renters and college students in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado.
Clinical evaluation: $250
ESA letter, when clinically supported: $150
Evaluations may address up to two animals
Payment for an evaluation does not guarantee that a letter will be issued. Documentation is provided only when supported by the clinical evaluation and applicable professional standards.

Nexus Letters for Veterans
PTSD and Military Sexual Trauma Claims
Nexus-letter services may include clinical interviews, assessment measures, review of available military and medical records, diagnostic considerations, and preparation of an independent clinical opinion.

Clinical Supervision
Supervision for eligible counselors
Clinical supervision is available to qualifying counselors pursuing independent licensure in New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. EHMH does not provide supervision for Texas LPC-Associates.
Supervision consultation: $50
Individual supervision: $100 per session
Group supervision: $50 per session
Four individual sessions: $350
Two individual and two group sessions: $325
Eligibility, employment setting, licensure status, state requirements, and the proposed arrangement are reviewed before an agreement begins. Packages must be used under the terms of the supervision agreement.
Military and first-responder discount
A 10% discount is available to eligible military members, veterans, first responders, and immediate family members for standard pay-as-you-go supervision sessions, subject to verification.
Individual supervision with discount: $90 per session
Group supervision with discount: $45 per session
The discount does not apply to consultations or packages and cannot be combined with another discount or promotion. Consultation and package prices remain as listed above. New Mexico supervision fees are subject to applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax.
Parent Coaching
Practical Support for Parents and Caregivers
Parent coaching: $125 for 45 minutes
Teen-parent coaching: $75 for 45 minutes
Parent coaching is not psychotherapy and is not a replacement for a child’s individual mental health treatment or emergency care.

Counselor-in-Training Placement Consultations
Practicum and Internship Opportunities
Placement consultation: $50
Clinical supervision during an accepted EHMH placement is provided without a separate supervision fee
Payment for a consultation does not guarantee placement.
Acceptance depends on fit, university requirements, agreement deadlines, available supervision capacity, and EHMH’s ability to provide an appropriate training experience.

Professional Training
Training for Organizations and Professional Groups
Professional training fees are customized according to:

A written proposal will identify the scope, fee, payment schedule, and deliverables before the training is confirmed.

Records and Documentation Fees
Requests for Copies of Client Records
Copies of client records are not provided automatically. Requests must be submitted in writing and include any authorization or identity-verification information required by EHMH.
Electronic copy of records maintained electronically: $6.50 per completed request
Paper copies: Reasonable, cost-based copying and supply charges permitted by applicable law
Mailing: Actual postage and applicable delivery expenses
Record summaries or explanations: Fee quoted in advance when separately requested and agreed upon
Subpoenas, attorney requests, insurance requests, disability documentation, and other third-party requests: Fees assessed according to the request and applicable law
The records-copy fee covers only allowable costs associated with creating and delivering the requested copy. EHMH does not charge clients for time spent searching for or retrieving records.
An estimate of applicable charges will be provided before the records are prepared. Payment may be required in advance when permitted by law.
EHMH will not deny a client access to records solely because the client has an unpaid balance for clinical services.
New Mexico records-copy fees are subject to applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax when required.
Payment and Financial Policies
Payment Policy
Payment is accepted through:

Cash and checks are not accepted unless EHMH provides written authorization for a particular transaction.
Payment must be completed according to the terms provided for the selected service. Depending on the service, payment may be required when scheduling, before the appointment, through an installment agreement, or before a final document is released.
Evaluations, professional letters, reports, testimony, record review, training, supervision packages, consultations, and other reserved professional services may require advance payment.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that payments and invoices are completed by the stated deadline. Failure to complete payment may delay scheduling, appointments, reports, letters, or other deliverables.
Card or invoice payment may be used for records-copy charges. When permitted by law, payment may be required before copies are prepared or released.
New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax
Fees for Services Provided in New Mexico
Fees charged directly for services provided in New Mexico are subject to applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax.
The GRT rate may vary based on the service and the appropriate reporting location. When GRT applies, it will be added to the listed service fee and displayed before payment is completed.
A fee shown on the website without GRT should not be interpreted as the final tax-inclusive amount.
Refund and Final-Sale Policy
Refund terms depend on your provider
Jenny: refunds are available when she cancels because of her schedule. Refunds are not available when a client cancels or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Alexis’s services: payments are final and nonrefundable under the applicable service agreement. This includes reserved appointments, consultations, evaluations, professional letters and reports, record review, coaching, supervision and packages, training, testimony, and administrative work. A change of mind, missed appointment, incomplete process, or disagreement with an independent clinical finding or outside decision does not qualify for a refund.
Records-copy, postage, and document-preparation fees are nonrefundable after the work begins. These terms do not limit remedies required by applicable law. Confirmed duplicate charges and billing errors will be reviewed and corrected.
Cancellation and no-show policy
Jenny: at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a $15 fee. No-shows incur a $20 fee. Exceptions apply for life-threatening emergencies or travel delays.
Alexis’s appointments: at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A $125 fee applies to late cancellations and missed appointments except consultations. Consultation payments remain subject to the applicable nonrefundable consultation terms.
Insurance does not cover late-cancellation or missed-appointment fees. Separate terms may apply to training, testimony, reserved group services, or project-based work when stated in the service agreement.
superbills
Superbills Must Be Requested in Advance
Superbills are not issued automatically.
A client who wants a superbill must request it before the appointment for which the superbill is needed. Requests made after an appointment may not be accommodated retroactively.
A superbill is documentation that a client may submit to an insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. It is not an insurance claim, promise of coverage, or guarantee of reimbursement.
Clients are responsible for:
Confirming whether their plan includes out-of-network benefits
Determining whether the service is eligible for reimbursement
Requesting the superbill before the applicable appointment
Submitting the superbill to the insurance company
Responding to requests from the insurance company
Paying EHMH regardless of whether reimbursement is approved
EHMH cannot guarantee that an insurer will accept a superbill or reimburse any portion of the fee.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Your Right to an Estimate of Expected Charges
Under the federal No Surprises Act, individuals who do not have health insurance or who choose not to use insurance to pay for their care are generally entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of scheduled healthcare services.
You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service. When applicable, EHMH will also provide one after a service is scheduled within the timeframes required by federal law:
For services scheduled 3–9 business days in advance, the estimate is generally provided within one business day.
For services scheduled at least 10 business days in advance, the estimate is generally provided within three business days.
An estimate requested before scheduling is generally provided within three business days.
A Good Faith Estimate reflects the services reasonably expected at the time it is prepared. It is not a contract and does not require you to receive services from EHMH.
The estimate may need to be updated if your treatment needs, frequency of appointments, requested services, evaluation scope, or anticipated length of care changes.
If a provider’s final billed charges are at least $400 more than that provider’s Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to use the federal patient-provider dispute-resolution process.
A dispute generally must be started within 120 calendar days of receiving the initial bill. Keep copies of your Good Faith Estimate and all related bills.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are services available?
EHMH provides online services for eligible clients in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, or Colorado, depending on the provider and service. Alexis also offers South Carolina telehealth counseling under registration TLC 3078 PC; this option does not extend to Jenny. Your physical location is confirmed for each appointment. Individual therapy and Elevated Access counseling serve ages 13 and older. Specialized services may have other eligibility requirements; gender-affirming evaluations and letters serve adults 18 and older.
Who will provide my counseling?
Alexis McCray, Ed.S., LPC provides individual therapy. Jenny provides supervised counseling through the Elevated Access Program. She is a graduate counselor-in-training, not an independently licensed counselor. Your provider and supervision arrangements are explained before care begins.
Do you offer couples counseling?
Jenny offers couples counseling services through Elevated Access, subject to clinical fit, availability, and supervisor approval. Jenny’s fee is $60 for 90 minutes. Ask about current availability. Parent coaching is also available; family therapy availability must be confirmed with EHMH.
Does Elevated Access guarantee free counseling?
No. Jenny’s individual sessions are $30–$60. Pro bono spaces depend on financial need and program capacity. Applying does not guarantee immediate placement or a particular fee. Review the program and apply.
How does telehealth work?
You receive secure video instructions and required paperwork before your first session. Attend from a private location with reliable internet. Your counselor confirms your location and emergency contact information. If you need crisis intervention, intensive monitoring, or in-person care, EHMH may recommend another service.
Do you accept insurance or provide superbills?
Confirm coverage and payment arrangements before scheduling; eligibility varies by plan, provider, state, and service. Request any superbill before the appointment. Retroactive requests may not be accommodated. A superbill does not guarantee reimbursement, and clients remain responsible for payment. Many evaluation, letter, coaching, supervision, and administrative services may not qualify for coverage.
What are the payment and cancellation terms?
Jenny provides an invoice that must be paid within 24 hours of the appointment. Jenny accepts debit or credit cards. Jenny requires 24 hours’ notice; late cancellations or rescheduling incur a $15 fee, and no-shows incur a $20 fee. Exceptions apply for life-threatening emergencies or travel delays.
Alexis’s appointments require 48 hours’ notice; the $125 late-cancellation/no-show fee excludes consultations. Alexis’s other services follow the payment schedule and terms confirmed before booking. Applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax is disclosed before payment.
Are fees refundable?
Jenny offers refunds when she cancels because of her schedule; client cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice are not refundable. Payments for Alexis’s services are final under the applicable service agreement, subject to billing corrections and remedies required by law. See the refund policy above.
Are evaluation letters or outcomes guaranteed?
No. Documentation depends on an independent clinical evaluation and professional judgment. EHMH cannot guarantee decisions by an insurer, landlord, university, court, VA reviewer, or other organization. EHMH does not provide legal advice; consult an attorney for legal questions.
Is a consultation therapy?
A consultation explores the requested service, fit, fees, and next steps. It does not automatically establish a therapist-client relationship or guarantee acceptance for services.
Who can receive clinical supervision?
Eligible counselors in New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado may apply. EHMH does not supervise Texas LPC-Associates. Eligibility and state requirements are reviewed before an agreement begins. Eligible military members, veterans, first responders, and immediate family members may receive a 10% supervision discount, subject to verification. The discount applies to standard pay-as-you-go sessions only; consultations and packages are excluded, and discounts cannot be combined.
Can students apply from outside the Elevated Access service states?
Yes, when the university permits virtual clinical work and supervision and the proposed placement meets applicable requirements. Acceptance requires university approval, an executed agreement, supervision capacity, and practice fit. Clients must still be in an authorized service state.
How do I request records or an estimate?
Contact EHMH to request records or a Good Faith Estimate. Electronic copies of electronically maintained records cost $6.50 per completed request. Other permitted copy, postage, summary, and third-party request charges are quoted before work begins. Searching for or retrieving records is not charged. See the records and estimate sections above.
How long do evaluations and letters take?
A projected timeline is discussed before work begins. It depends on service complexity, interviews, records, authorizations, payment, client responsiveness, and scheduling capacity.
What if I need urgent help?
EHMH is not a crisis service, and messages and forms are not continuously monitored. Call or text 988 for 24/7 crisis support. For immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use website forms, email, or voicemail for urgent assistance.
