Alexis McCray, Ed.S, LPC, is the Founder and CEO of Elevated Horizons Mental Health, PLLC—a telehealth-based practice built to expand access to personalized, high-quality mental health care across underserved communities.

With over 8 years of experience in the mental health field and a background in military service, Alexis brings a unique perspective to her work, particularly when supporting veterans, high achievers, and individuals navigating complex life transitions. She understands firsthand that mental health is not one-size-fits-all—and that many individuals struggle to find care that truly meets their needs.

Alexis specializes in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies. Her work often focuses on challenges such as burnout, anxiety, trauma, and the internal pressure that comes with high performance and responsibility.

Through Elevated Horizons Mental Health, Alexis has created a space where clients can access care without unnecessary barriers—no referrals, no long waitlists, and no judgment. Services are designed to be flexible, accessible, and tailored to each individual, whether they are seeking ongoing therapy, clinical evaluations, or professional documentation such as Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations and Nexus Letters.

In addition to her clinical work, Alexis is passionate about educating and empowering other professionals. Through Elevated Horizons Consulting, she supports clinicians and organizations in building sustainable, ethical, and impactful mental health services.
